Arthur Hadley Medicine - gosh, that sounds so formal! - is, in reality, a small group of individuals who are dedicated to helping you improve the quality of your life. Our goal is to help you become healthier and your life more enjoyable. We focus primarily on Weight Loss and Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Medicine under the wider umbrella of "Preventive Medicine."

"Well," you say, "that's nice. But who are you?" Okay, if you've read this far, then you really must want to know!

DR. ARTHUR TWINING HADLEY III Winner: Tommy Smothers Lookalike Contest ... or "Dr. H" as he's known around here - has practiced medicine for over 30 years. (He wants to know why it's called "practicing" when he's been doing it for so long!) A retired U.S. Army Colonel, Dr. H went into private practice in 1994 and has been helping Houstonians lose weight and feel better ever since. During his 20-plus years in the military, he held numerous positions of medical authority throughout the world. During the first Gulf War in 1991, Dr. H was the medical group commander responsible for the redeployment and health care of some 250,000 soldiers. For this, he received the Bronze Star of Achievement. Impressed yet? NO? You need more??? Okay, how about this... VOTED ONE OF HOUSTON'S "TOP DOCS" BY H TEXAS MAGAZINE (2004 - 2008!) Selected as an Astronaut Candidate and NASA Flight Surgeon - yep, that's right! Now you know how he earned the nickname "SKYDOC"!
